I am doing my service project through The Grove.
They call it “Serving the World” and when I contacted them they were happy to 
have another set of hands.  They told me they typically go to a local community and help
clean up such as: pick trash up off the ground, help people to fix
their houses, and serve the people how ever they can. 

So far they have gone to places like the Indian Reservations, places in
Mexico, and places devastated by hurricanes.  For the locals who are not able to
travel for days at a time to help out they have the opportunity to help out
Saturdays and go just a few miles beyond Chandler city limits where The Grove is
located and help places of extreme poverty and brokenness.  

I went and picked up trash in neighborhoods, parks, and off the road through out the
Phoenix area. It was a great experience and something I was glad to be apart of!
