Notes:

Chapter 1 Exercises:

Context Clue 1-
I  thought the word bequeathed meant something different, so I got that
answer wrong the first time, but I looked it up and know I understand the right
meaning of it.

Context Clue 3-
I misinterpreted the meaning of insatiable and choice the word addictive as
it’s meaning instead of never satisfied, which was the right meaning.

Context Clue 4-
I got question nine wrong. I was positive the answer was compared.  The
answer turned out to be represented with words.

I got question six wrong. I picked the answer incapable of being resolved for
the word internecine, but I didn’t read the sentence carefully because
describing a conflict within a larger group was the obvious answer.

Chapter 2 Exercises:
Exercise 1-
I got question three wrong. I got caught up in the story talking about night
and babies and didn’t see what it was really about, which was the skill of
standing.

Exercise 2-
I didn’t put narration for question four because I didn’t realize there could
have been two modes of discourse.

Exercise 3-
This exercises was hard for me, I kept thinking the main point would always
be at the beginning of the paragraph, but that’s not always the case.

Practice Test Chapters 1-2:
I kept getting MA(major support) and MI (minor support) mixed up, so I read
that part in my reading book again to help me.

Chapter 4 Exercises:
Multiple Choice Exercise 3-
For question two I put my answer as description, but the actual answer was
exposition.  Made sense after I saw the correct answer.

Chapter 5 Exercises:
Short Answer Exercise 1-
I really struggled with this exercise, it took me forever to understand and
complete.

Practice Test Chapters 1-5:
I really struggled with question twenty eight, it confused me.  Seeing the
actual answer and no the one I said (which was totally wrong) helped me to
understand and see why that was the correct answer.

Chapter 6 Exercises:
Review MC Exercise-
On question one I picked an answer that was similar to right one and had the
same concept of purgatory.

Short Answer Exercises 1-5-
Thought I knew what some of the words in bold meant, but I looked them up and
learned some new words and their meaning.  To get my answers I looked up the
words used in the questions to help me get other words that were similar to
them.

Chapter 7 Exercises:
Short Answer Exercise 2-
Chapter seven essay exercise one was great practice that helped me be ready
for this short answer exercise 2.

Practice Test Chapters 6-7:
When you were asked what word was compared to another I went into too much
detail instead of a simple answer.  The result of that was getting them wrong
and having to rewrite them.  The good part is I had the right words in my
answers, but too much detail.
